Spring Days

Planting Flowers
and
Flying Kites
Alyse has been trying her hardest to fly kites that she has made out of paper and yarn. Today Scott helped her make some more flyable kites, but they still didn't fly (they had fun building them though)! Eventually Scott ended up going to the BX and bought a few, then we went to the soccer fields to fly them. They had no problem getting them up, but by this time it was raining! They stuck it out and had a blast, I watched from the car but enjoyed being out of the house and a little fresh air! Scott said he had forgotten how fun it could be (and so cheap), we'll have to do it more often and take advantage of the South Dakota winds! I can't wait till we live in the country someday though and can fly them in the back yard, not having to load up and drive somewhere to fly them!

That looks like a lot of fun. Something that Drake really wants to do here. We are planting a garden on our balcony, can't wait to have fresh tomatoes from our own plant.

How fun! It sounds like a perfect day! I love the music for it. Boston is currently dancing around, which for his is flapping his arms up and down and moving in circles. Anyway so cute; seems like a perfect, fun family day!

Ruby,
Thank you for remembering me on my birthday! That was so sweet of you; I really appreciate it. Tell us the minute that baby decides to arrive; you and her are in our thoughts and prayers.
