Noni's visit day 2, 3, and 4

On Noni's second day here, we went to Garden of the Gods

We then stopped on our way to Seven Falls for a picnic (a breadless picnic because somebody forgot to stop and buy bread on our way out that morning, we ate our meat and cheese in between sun chips :)

There was this stream by our picnic stop, it felt so good to put our feet in!  And so beautiful too! 

 

Then we came home and the girls really wanted to try out Layla's new pool, even if it was starting to cool off.  They were cold, but it didn't stop them!

and we ate dinner at Red Robbin.  They sang Happy Birthday to Layla, Lexi, and Scott (I'm not sure they belived us that they all had birthdays)  This is the third time Layla got a treat and sang to, she was loving it and very much noticing a patern to the birthday thing as in Layla's birthday, Layla's birthday, and Layla's birthday...  (foreseeing any trouble, I am?)

we had a quiet day at home making treats, napping, playing games, and going for a walk

Moday (which was Memorial Day) we went to our ward's breakfast and then decided to stay home and avoid the Holiday crowds.  The girls played in the pool again and Alyse worked on her Flat Stanley summer project.  We had Family Home Evening and taught Noni one of family favorite games of sardines for the activity.   We were all in the shower when Noni (the last seeker) found us, the girls really wanted to see if we would ALL fit, so Noni squeezed in too - and then turned the shower on for second! very funny :)
