Spring break started out with a few busy days but we also got started on a doll house the girls bought with their Christmas Hobby Lobby gift cards from Noni pooled together. They got pieces painted and Alyse stained shingles with Scott.

We were making big plans to go camping at the Grand Canyon for spring break months ago. I researched out a few different trip options and there were lots of camping sites open, but a week later after we decided which one we wanted to do, the Mather's Campground and everywhere warm enough to tent camp with kids was FULL! so... we were stuck home until my friend, the YW's president, said she had a time share with a place near Ogden, Utah that is usually on inventory :) It was open and we got it for 2 nights and were able to get away and have lots of fun!
Our first stop was in Richmond, Utah. We took the longer way to Ogden to go to the Fat Boy Factory. Online, we read that they do factory tours and you can buy factory seconds for cheap. We got there a few minutes before they opened and passed time taking pictures outside. When they opened the ice cream shop we learned that they no longer do factory tours but they have a video to watch about production. We watched it as we enjoyed a whole lot of factory second Fat Boys!
Factory seconds are cheap and they had a special... if you spend over $5 you got a box of seconds free. So for $6.18 we got 50 Fat Boys! The kids were delighted! We let them eat all they wanted and we took just over a box with us with ice packs. They were melted by the time we got to the motel in the evening but they froze and we enjoyed them over the next 2 days :)
Some were missing a cookie, some had cracked or upside down cookies, mine was perfect with an extra block of ice cream! That's better than a premium! Scott put two that were each missing a cookie together for an extra fat Fat Boy. We were all delighted with going out to bottomless ice cream for 6 bucks!
