In a December family home evening lesson, I asked each person to write down the 3 most exciting things about Christmas and then had them write down the 3 most important things about Christmas. It was touching to me to see what the kids wrote. On everyone's most exciting list was acting out the nativity as a family. I love that they all love this tradition and that it means so much to them too.
Daddy is always the donkey and plays it up well. The girls argue over who gets to be Mary, and so we end up acting it out 4 times so they each get a turn :) and Landon got to replace the usual baby doll to be baby Jesus.
