Scott worked on Christmas Eve until 2 and the girls and I baked in the kitchen all day! We made a huge batch of rolls, a caramel apple pie, a lemon meringue pie, Mormon potatoes, pita bread, couscous, and more!
Our celebration started with a Bethlehem dinner. (couscous, fruits, cheeses, pita bread, and grape juice)
Then opened Christmas pajamas
(This is our "Savior tree" and the only picture I have of it)
Then the kids did their present exchange. They drew names and made a handmade gift.
Layla made Landon a fishing pole and fish
Alaina sewed Lexi a cover for her Faith in God book and filled it with her favorite candy bar.
Alyse made Alaina a take anywhere coloring set (it has paper on one side and twistables on the other in a DVD case).
Lexi sewed Layla a felt playset with cute little momma and baby animals.
Landon (with the Daddy's help) made Alyse a "tree house" for small dolls or animals.
They each worked hard and came up with the cutest stuff! They were each so excited to give their present!
Layla's primary teacher brought her a white chocolate nativty and the kids in their cute new hats Grammy made them. (see how cooperative Audrey is!)
The homemade gifts from my siblings, Grammy's hand dipped chocolates (the best ever this year!), and cookies for Santa!
We read stories and sent very excited children off to bed!
