We started off the Christmas season with a train ride to the North Pole with Scott's side of the family. We rode the train with Santa and Mrs. Claus and had lots of time to visit with them. Mrs. Claus took a liking to Landon and Landon took a liking to chewing on Mrs. Claus's red glove. I had worked the night before and the train ride didn't even put me to sleep (but I am an expert at staying awake!). At the North Pole we visited Santa in his sleigh, drank chocolate milk, and walked around the toy shop, then enjoyed the train ride back to Horseshoe Bend were we loaded. Scott and I spent the rest of the day Christmas shopping.
It was a great start to the season!
