Day 5 We finished hiking the rest of the rim trail in the morning.
Top: Landon thought this sign about the Trail of Time Trail of Time looked like a guillotine and stuck his head through it. (I have no idea how he knows what a guillotine even is!)

It got hot in the afternoon again so we hung out at the Visitor's Center again, watched the same video and then attended a Critter Chat with Ranger and learned about dangerous animals in the canyon. Alyse got a bad bloody nose in the evening and we stayed around camp and played games.
Day 6 we started early on the 25 mile drive to Desert Tower to be there at opening. We stopped at a few overlooks on the way out.
Lexi, Alaina, and I hiked into the Canyon on the Grand Trail. It was a kinda steep to say the least and on the very edge!

We attended one more Ranger Program and then Alaina, Landon, and Layla got sworn in as Junior Rangers
Eating breakfast on Day 7 before loading up and heading for home, an 11 1/2 hour drive.
The Grand Canyon was amazing and we had a fun week with no ER visits this time! Only a bloody nose and a few small scrapes :)
