Happy Thanksgiving!

We went home for Thanksgiving and packed everything in 4 1/2 days that we possibly could!

Thanksgiving Day was in the Parma church building.  It's too hard to pack 20 people into a house all day.  It was my mom and all my sisters, my brothers were at the in-laws this year.   We can party like no other family and we did!  My mother has taught us well!  Who else plays human sized Hungry Hungry Hippos to say the least! :)  We got to the church before noon and didn't leave until after 11 p.m., making it a full day of turkey eating and Hungry Hungry Hippo playing!

Scott carving the turkey,
Alaina and Alyse playing school,
and the fridge door full of Cool Whip :)

the table and place settings

LOTS of food and LOTS of pies!

Landon adoringly looking at a flashlight... this boy likes flashlights!

Layla and the pomegranate she nearly ate by herself, splattering her face... silly girl ;)
and sneaky little Audrey trying to swipe some meringue!
The food was great but the fun really began when Aunt Kristey brought out the scooters!
We played real life Hungry Hungry Hippos, gathering the ball and bringing them back to our basket.  Really!  It was a blast!  Then we did relay races and gave rides.  Even Grammy took a ride :)  Scott burnt off his dinner giving at least 4 hours of wild rides!  It was fun even though Scott crashed me into a chair and my elbow got a nice gym floor burn on it.
Grammy found this little one sneaking the cool whip from under the stage curtain.  See the story unfold as she sneaks, enjoys herself, looks up to see she's been found out, and then looks repentant :)

Playing Pictionary and the kids ready to hunt for Easter eggs.
Yes, Easter eggs with Halloween candy in them.  I guess we just celebrated all the holidays while we were together.  No, just kidding.  Carla had brought them to mix in with the balls for the Hungry Hippo game, but they didn't get mixed in so the older kids hid them for the younger ones... we are CRAZY- I know :)  My family makes me laugh just to type it!

We played lots of board games too and had a wonderful fun day together!
