Once upon a Halloween night
living in this spooky town
was a man who died of fright
bearing the name of Brown.
Many and many a year has passed
since they buried Brown away,
but his withering corpse we've here amassed
dug up from his tomb today!
Here is his hair, once so fair!
Old Brown got such an awful scare
he lost his head with all his hair.
Here is his brain, which feels no pain.
Now touch his ear, which does not hear!
His eyes were small, but very keen
no one knows just what they've seen
his remains are not a pretty sight,
here are his eyeballs, left and right.
He talked a lot when he was young
until someone pulled out his tongue
His body may be cold and dry
but teeth remain, they never die
Here is his heart, nevermore to start!
A few drops of blood, the rest turned to mud!
One hand all alone, rotting flesh and bone.
All that's of his guts are these worms within!
